Editorial policy
How GBP Local Ranker researches, writes, reviews and corrects its local SEO and Google Business Profile content.
Last updated: October 4, 2026
1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to every guide, blog post, industry playbook, glossary entry and free-tool explanation published on gbplocalranker.com. It explains who writes our content, which sources we rely on, and how we correct mistakes.
2. Who writes and reviews content
Articles are written and edited by the GBP Local Ranker team in Ghaziabad, India, the same people who manage Google Business Profiles for clients and build the product. Vedvyas Verma (Founder & CEO) is responsible for what we publish.
AI tools may help with outlines, drafts and translation. A team member checks every article against the sources below before it is published, and the team remains accountable for the final text.
3. Sources and accuracy
- Google’s own documentation comes first: Business Profile Help, the guidelines for representing your business on Google, Search Central and Google Ads Help.
- We describe the real Google Business Profile interface (menu names, settings and limits) as it appears when we write, and recheck it when Google changes it.
- We do not publish invented statistics, made-up case studies or quotes. When a number is not publicly documented, we say so or leave it out.
- Examples come from several countries because our customers are worldwide; they illustrate a point and are not client results unless we say so.
4. Claims we will not make
- No ranking guarantees. Google ranks local results by relevance, distance and prominence, and nobody can promise a Map Pack position.
- No advice that breaks Google’s guidelines: keyword-stuffed business names, fake addresses, review gating, incentivised or bought reviews, or mass-reporting competitors.
- Product mentions are factual. When we compare tools, we describe what each one does and mention our own product only where it is relevant.
5. Updates and dates
Each article shows when it was published and when it was last updated. We update articles when Google changes a feature or policy, and we merge or redirect older posts that no longer meet this standard instead of leaving thin pages online.
6. Corrections and feedback
If you find an error, email support@gbplocalranker.com with the page URL and what should change. We review every report and correct confirmed errors, updating the article’s modified date.
